WHAT YOU CAN DO AND WHAT YOU CAN´T DO AND WHAT YOU COULD DO IN CASE OF OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENT

One of the labor sectors that has the highest accident rate is transport, and that is why we created this instruction manual with which we want to know what we can and can´t do when helping a worker.

BLOWS: With load, carrying out maintenance tasks, with load movement equipment.
* you can apply local ice
* you can´t move the affected part
* you can´t bandage with force
* could cover the injured with a                 blanket

Falls: incarcerated, when jumping from the ramp, when circulating in yards of maneuvers and parking, when going up or down the cabin, for wet or slippery floors.
* You can observe the breath and ask what part of the body is the pain
* If the injured person has a helmet on, we can ask him if his head or neck hurts. In the case that the person reports pain we can not remove the helmet

* You can´t drink anything

verexertion: by manual handling of loads, incorrect or forced postures
* You can put the injured person on his back with his legs flexed or with cushions under his knees
* you could give some analgesic recommended by a health professional

* You can´t mobilize the person if you are in a lot of pain

Clashes and collisions: on public roads, in maneuvering yards or parking lots.
* You can check if there is any bleeding. If this is the case you can do firm and constant pressure on the injured
* If you notice difficulty breathing, we could undo the clothes

* Can´t be mobilized until medical personnel arrive

On the other hand, the musculoskeletal pathologies: affect certain areas of the body of the worker, and are usually caused by incorrect postures when driving or over a long period of time in some limb.

* You can encourage, self-care in workers as a fundamental role

* You could encourage the practice of exercises and a healthy lifestyle and according to the demands of the work being done

By carrying out simple procedures and following certain guidelines, human lives can be saved if a basic treatment is administered until professional medical help arrives.
